Course Description:

This is the second day, 3 hours shooting portion of the PPOTH class. If students have already taken the PPOTH, they may take just the second day of shooting.

Armed Professionals (Armed Guards, Private Investigators, Court Officers and Bail Enforcement Officers) and others who have taken advanced training are eligible to take this class. Confirm with the Instructor as to your eligibility. These drills sharpen the skills advance level students need to maintain.

The Skills practiced in this class include Moving and shooting, Shooting from cover, Shooting with your flashlight, Striking and shooting until the threat is down, Speed shooting, responding to gunfire and moving into position.

Course Instructor:

Thomas Brown is a Senior Tactical Firearms Instructor with the New Hampshire Tactical Arts Group, a Lethal Force Instructor for New Hampshire, a Massachusetts State Firearms Instructor, an NRA Law Enforcement Instructor, a LEOSA Instructor, a Force-on-force Law Enforcement Instructor, Patrol Rifle Instructor, a defensive knife Instructor and a Chief Range Safety Officer. His training includes courses from Lethal Force Institute, Defense Training International, Calibre Press, Combative Concepts, Personal Security Institute, Sig Academy (LE Instructor) and Simunitions. Thomas Brown has also appeared in court as an expert witness in the areas of firearms, safety and training, and is a Graduate of the Law of Self Defense Instructor Program. He is a member of the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA), the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors (IALEFI) and the Massachusetts Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors & Armorers Association (MLEFIAA).
