Our USCCA-based MA LTC class is designed to guide students through the required education and permit process for obtaining a Massachusetts License To Carry, whether you are applying as a Massachusetts resident or non-resident.

This class is more than checking a box. We go beyond the required material to help students gain a stronger understanding of firearm safety, responsible ownership, and the legal responsibilities that come with possessing and carrying a defensive firearm in Massachusetts.

Your instructor is a firearm and use-of-force expert with over 25 years of experience teaching the Massachusetts permit class. Students will receive practical, engaging instruction in a comfortable learning environment designed for both new and experienced shooters.

Massachusetts LTC education and permit process
Firearm safety and responsible ownership
Legal use of force considerations
Defensive firearm responsibility
What responsible gun owners should understand before carrying
Live-fire training to reinforce classroom instruction

The class includes live-fire training to complement the classroom portion and help students build confidence while applying what they have learned.

Firearm Options

Students have three options for the live-fire portion:

  1. Bring your own firearm and ammunition

  2. Rent the pistol of your choice for $20

    Rental ammunition must be purchased from Manchester Firing Line.

  3. Use a provided .22 firearm

Limited .22 ammunition is included.

Eye protection, ear protection, and targets are provided free of charge for this class.
