Three-day gathering, October 2–4, in New Hampshire combines firearms education, personal-safety training and community for women at every experience level

MANCHESTER, N.H. — [Sept 9, 2026] Women from across the United States will gather in Manchester, New Hampshire, October 2–4, 2026 for the second annual National Iron Rose Rise-Together Weekend, hosted by the Iron Rose Women’s Shooting Club. This three-day event will feature firearms education, hands-on training, personal safety instruction, skill development and community-building.

The weekend is designed for women at every stage of their firearms journey. Some attendees will be firing their first rounds, while others are experienced gun owners, competitors and instructors. Programming will include hands-on, range and classroom instruction in:

  • Beginner and advanced pistol and rifle
  • Self-defense
  • Situational awareness
  • Less-lethal personal-safety options
  • Shooting sports
  • Skill-building workshops and “Beyond the Range” sessions

“Rise-Together isn’t about everyone arriving with the same level of experience,” said TerryAnn Bowen, founder and CEO of Iron Rose Women’s Shooting Club, co-owner of Manchester Firing Line and a certified firearms instructor. “A woman may be taking her first steps into firearms, or she may already be an instructor, competitor or experienced gun owner. There should still be somewhere for her to grow, and women willing to help her get there.”

Beth Alcazar, editor-at-large for the U.S Concealed Carry Association (USCCA), award-winning writer, educator and firearms instructor, will serve as the 2026 keynote speaker. She will be joined by instructors, educators and subject-matter experts from across the country. Author Liz Lazarus will lead a special discussion and book talk about her novel, Dawn Before Darkness

The Iron Rose Rise-Together Weekend is a part of the Rose Garden’s programming

Women can stay connected throughout the year via the new Rose Garden online community (launching today – LINK TO OTHER RELEASE), and through local events with partner instructors at participating ranges.

“Our goal is to create connections,” Bowen said. “Sometimes that happens online. Sometimes it happens at a range in a woman’s own community. Once a year, we invite women to come together from across the country and experience what ‘We Rise Together’ looks like in person.”
